ITINERARY
Day 01: Arrival at Paro Airport – Thimphu Sightseeing
On arrival at Paro airport, you will be welcomed and transferred to the Thimphu. After arrival at Thimphu check in at the hotel. In the afternoon, begin with a Thimphu sightseeing which includes Kuensel Phodrang, National Memorial Chorten. Explore Tashichho Dzong in the evening. Night stay at Thimphu. (Distance: 65 kms. / Driving Time: 2 hrs. / Altitude of Thimphu: 2350 mts.)
Day 02: Thimphu – Punakha/Wangdue – Sightseeing
After breakfast move to Punakha/Wangdue, On the way explore Dochula Pass to view the higher Himalayas. On arrival at Punakha check-in at hotel. Visit Punakha Dzong in the afternoon. After that visit the Chhimi Lhakhang temple. Evening is free for leisure. Night stay at Punakha/Wangdue. (Distance: 77 kms. / Driving Time: 3 hrs. / Altitude of Punakha: 1310 mts.)
Day 03: Punakha/Wangdue – Paro Sightseeing
After breakfast proceed for Paro (7,483 ft.). En route stop at Lamperi to explore Royal Botanical Park. On arrival check in at the hotel. Visit Ta Dzong, Rinpung Dzong in the afternoon. Evening free for leisure. Night stay at Paro. (Distance: 140 kms. / Driving Time: 5 hrs. / Altitude of Paro: 2280 mts.)
Day 04: Paro Sightseeing
Breakfast then proceed for popular Taktsang Monastery known as Tiger’s Nest. After that visit Drukgyel Dzong and Kyichu Monastery. Stay at Paro during night.
Day 05: Departure
Take breakfast and transfer to the Paro airport to board your return flight.
